We are always impressed with Net Entertainment's ability to design games that are visually stunning and Neon Staxx successfully continues this trend. When we examined the game interface, it immediately reminded us of a science fiction film from the 90's. It is dark and bold with a vast array of neon colours and symbols. There is no denying that the game is a stunner regarding its design and we particularly like the dark rock music that accompanies it. The combination makes for a sinister, yet exciting atmosphere that really makes you want to jump in and play. There are 5 reels to play on with a total of 40 pay-lines, so there are a healthy number of ways to win. The bonus features are limited but the player can accumulate some pretty decent bonuses, and overall players will probably play for the aesthetics more than the content. You can't miss the wild symbol in Neon Staxx which is represented by a big pink symbol with the word "wild" on it. For those that are unfamiliar with the wild symbol concept, it essentially replaces most other symbols on the reel (except the scatter symbol) and basically helps players accumulate more winning combinations. The wild symbol on this game is really useful and for every 3, 4 or 5 wild symbols that appear, the player will gain a multiplier of 15, 30 or 200 respectively which is a lot higher than other slots.
You could argue that this is the main feature on Neon Staxx, and it is a popular feature on the game that players seem to enjoy. Essentially, this bonus feature can trigger at the start of a spin, and any symbol (apart from the scatter) can be randomly selected to be part of the Super Staxx which is a stack of symbols that fill up all the reel positions. The overall aim with this feature is for the stacks to appear on adjacent reels and create a huge win.
The free spins feature actually combines with the scatter symbol which is represented by the pink triangle. We love this game because the free spins trigger all the time so if you can get 3, 4 or 5 scatters then this will result in 10, 15 or 20 spins respectively which is a pretty decent return.
